Relative is our founder Tracey Arcabasso Smith’s award-winning and extremely personal feature documentary, produced by The We Collective and Oscar-winning filmmaker Laura Poitras in partnership with Field of Vision. Decades of haunting home videos and powerful intergenerational conversations create a unique film that artfully explores the complexity of abuse, violence, and love within a family system. Relative is critically celebrated for its deft, nuanced, accessible handling of sexual trauma and was named “Top 20 Documentaries of 2022”. Relative will be available for streaming in the fall of 2023.
